First Round of Presidential Elections: Macron and Le Pen in the Run-off and Defeat of Traditional Parties
As expected, Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen both qualified for the run-off on 24 April following the first round of the French presidential election. In his post-election speech, Macron called on his supporters to unite in a "great political movement of unity and action for our country." Le Pen, on the other hand, advocates more sovereignty for the French nation.

Presidential Elections After the "Turning Point"
In view of the "turning point", the omens for this April's elections in France have changed significantly. Three weeks ahead, all the polls point to a clear result: Just like five years ago, Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen will clearly prevail. And the second round of voting also seems to be heading for a similar result as in 2017: Macron's (re-)election as French president.
