Happy pride week! By Maria Olthaar
6 weeks ago, I arrived in Buenos Aires, and I experienced this city as a free open-minded place. This week is pride week here in the capital. Being from Amsterdam, the first place in the world where two people of the same sex entered marriage, it is an important celebration and protest for me. This week symbolizes the celebration of love and equality. As liberals, we believe everybody has the freedom to be with who they want to be.

Our project, located in the city of Buenos Aires, is not only in charge of the activities in Argentina but in Paraguay as well, together with several partners throughout decades and backed by numerous successful projects. The foundation develops nationwide projects in almost every province in Argentina.

The protagonists of this video are two sisters, Sarah and Angelina Grimke, pioneering women of the abolitionist campaign in the United States of America. Why is this relevant to us? Municipal elections in Paraguay
Paraguay voted for its municipal authorities. Bringing the country out of the Covid crisis helped the ruling National Party win the election. However, the party did face problems in some strongholds.
