The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom has been active in Jordan since 1984, implementing projects in the areas of decentralisation, civic education, entrepreneurship, and free market economy. The Amman Office originally coordinated the Foundation’s projects in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. Since 2016 it has been serving as FNF's Middle East and North Africa Regional Office.
In Jordan, the FNF Office cooperates with a diverse array of partners including ministries and civil society organisations. Through various projects and events, FNF’s partners promote liberal values such as human rights, democracy, the rule of law and social market economy.
