In many parts of the world, democracy is under thereat. Authoritarianism is on the rise, and even in what we had preciously thought of as stable democracies, there have been worrying developments. It is clear, that democracy needs an update – and we are working on it!
How can we use digital tools or innovative ways to foster and protect democracy and freedom? How can we innovate technology for the purpose of advancing democracy? How can we shape technology development in a way that is compatible and complementary to democracy? How can we make digital and technology policy making processes more participatory and transparent?
These are some of the questions we are asking. And we look forward to sharing our findings with you!
