The Beirut Office :

Garage 664

Every morning, our office’s black garage gate automatically opens and allows a transparent view into our creative working space: the Garage 664.

Run by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Garage 664 offers a great opportunity for groups and individuals seeking for the exchange of ideas on innovation, creativity and freedom.

Our blue and monumental "F" awaits newcomers at the entrance and just next to it, they can see our brightly colored conference room. Freshly equipped with a black metallic industrial-design conference table, it is the place where strategic and creative decisions of our organisation take place. Red tubes on the ceilings lead to the individual workspaces of our team members and state a contrast to the dark interior.

The surface of the tables is made out of smashed glass symbolizing the breaking of theories into practice. The kitchen stands to the opposite of the workspace and is designed as an open space that offers food for both stomach and thought.

At the rear end of the main room, a door opens to the office of Mr. Kristof Kleemann, our Project Director. From his desk, you can have an overview of the whole office reaching until the main entrance. Outside the office, a small tropical garden with palms and banana trees next to a crystal clear swimming pool provides everyone with a well-deserved relaxation. Come along and experience it yourself!
