EU Paper

The relations between the European Union (EU) and Sri Lanka have undergone significant development over time, primarily driven by trade relations and trade concessions such as the Generalized System of Preferences Plus (GSP+) granted to Sri Lanka. As a result, European Union election 2024 holds significance for Sri Lanka, impacting both its economic and political landscapes. The key objective of this paper is to analyze the impact of the EU election on the current EU-Sri Lanka relations, with a specific focus on how it will influence the future trajectory of these relations, particularly in economic and political aspects.
