1. Introduction

Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) and Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is seeking a creative and talented designer to develop an engaging and visually appealing textbook on Blue Economy. The textbook is intended for students between the ages of 12 to 18 years, and it should incorporate photographs, illustrations, and vibrant colors to capture the students' attention and foster their interest in the subject.

2. Project Overview

  • Scope: Design a captivating and informative textbook on Blue Economy.
  • Target Audience: School students aged 12 to 18 years.
  • Duration: The contract will be with effect from November 1st to December 31st, 2023.
  • Collaboration: The designer will work closely with the authors of the textbook to ensure alignment with the content.

3. Designer Requirements

We are looking for a designer with the following qualifications:

  • Graphic Design Expertise: Proficiency in graphic design, layout, and formatting for educational materials, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Experience in Educational Design: Prior experience in designing textbooks or educational materials is highly desirable.
  • Creativity: Ability to create visually engaging content suitable for students, including the integration of photographs, illustrations, and a variety of colors.

4. Quotation Submission

Interested designers are requested to submit their quotations by October 25, 2023 to: Nupur Hasija Nupur.hasija@freiheit.org

The quotation should include a breakdown of costs. The timeline for contract will be from 1 November – 31 December 2023.

5. Evaluation and Selection Process

Quotations will be reviewed by our selection committee, and shortlisted designers may be contacted for further discussions. The final selection will be based on qualifications, portfolio, cost, and alignment with project goals.
