Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung For Freedom (FNS) or in English Friedrich Naumann Foundation For Freedom (FNF) is a German Political Foundation. In Germany and in 60 countries around the world, FNF and its partners promote freedom, liberalism, democracy, human rights, pluralism, tolerance, a market economy, and the rule of law. FNF has close ties to the German political party Free Democratic Party (FDP). We were founded in 1958 by Germany's first President, Theodor Heuss, and have worked in Asia since 1969. FNF operates with public funds and is headquartered in Potsdam, Germany. The FNF advises decision makers in Berlin and publishes various reports. We facilitate dialogue, hold conferences and invite people from Asia and various other regions to attend seminars in Germany.
