New Publication on China's CBDC - Digital Launch Event on 9 December 2021
In 2020, FNF Global Innovation Hub has published a first report on China’s digital currency plans titled "Crypto RMB: Finance Innovation Or New Tool For Control?". Much has happened since, and we are proud to announce the follow-up report titled “The Rise of the e-RMB: Domestic Control, Global Influence”.
What has happened since the publication of the last report? Will this new CBDC lead to a broader internationalization of the RMB? Why is the PRC launching this currency now? What are the implications for those that use this new currency? What does it mean for the global economy and China’s neighbors ? Who could be early adopters – and why? And how should policy makers in Europe and beyond act and react ?
We will discuss these questions andy many more during our launch event on 9 December 2021, 11:30 - 13:00 UTC

We look forward to having you!
