Thailand Talks: A Platform for Discussions

Thailand Talks

What is Thailand Talk?

Amidst the current political climate, it's all too easy to find ourselves confined within our own political echo chambers. Thailand Talks serves as a vital bridge, offering individuals with diverse viewpoints a space to engage in open and meaningful discussions, share their thoughts, beliefs, and unique perspectives.

This year, we will be holding a special event which will allow our participants to experience the art of asking questions, showcase their unique perspectives, and search for the perspectives of others to enhance mutual understanding through the 'Talk to Transform' game.

Last year, Mr. Frederic Spohr, head of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) at the time, said he was quite optimistic that the project will work since it has proved to be successful in many other countries

“People may have different ideas or political opinions, but in the end, we all share a common goal which is to see a healthy society and good future for all children,” Mr. Frederic remarked to the participants of Thailand talk in 2022. While Dr. Pimrapaat Dusadeeisariyakul, Project Manager at the FNF, echoed Mr. Federic’s remark, saying she was hopeful that Thailand Talks will make Thailand stand out as a free society and bridge the political divide to reduce potential violence.
