Guidebook on Citizen Participation In Municipal Elections
The upcoming municipal elections in Lebanon represents a direct opportunity for Lebanese youth to participate in the democratic political process, make their voices heard for public institutions in making positive change on public service and hold their leaders accountable. Therefore it is crucial more than ever to educate and motivate them about this process and the importance of voting as well as to believe in the power of their participation in shaping their country’s governance.
In partnership with The Friedrich Naumann Foundation, “Nahnoo” has developed and designed a Guidebook specific about the municipal election law and campaigning for elections: The guidebook provides a general overview about the municipal election law, election campaign, citizen engagement and communication campaign.
