What contribution of young people to the promotion of good governance and the fight against corruption?

This theme was the subject of sincere and cordial exchanges between young Ivorians and Mr. Ballo Epiphane ZORO, Minister for the Promotion of Good Governance, Capacity Building and the Fight against Corruption.

The exchange meeting, held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in the gardens of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, as part of the Meet-up: "Crossed views with young people" organized by the Ivorian Network of Young Leaders for Integrity (RIJLI ) with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and German Cooperation.

During discussions with some fifty young people from civil society organizations, entrepreneurs and students, Mr. Ballo Epiphane ZORO provided information on the state of corruption in Côte d'Ivoire and its consequences on political, economic and social life of our country. He returned to the actions of his ministerial department to promote good governance and fight against corruption in our country, not without reviewing the government's perspectives in this area.

The Minister clarified and insisted on the role that young people must play in this fight against corruption before urging youth organizations to synergize action with the government.
