The Friedrich Naumann Foundation Beirut Office is focused on Lebanon and it's people. Regional and local turmoil makes the work of the foundation in this country challenging, forcing our office in Beirut to constantly adapt to new social and political changes.In Lebanon, our main objective is to support Lebanese start-ups, civil society organizations and liberal political parties while raising awareness about political education, female empowerement and durable development.

Citizenship Summer School 2022
More than 80 students from different universities and different backgrounds came together, from August 23 to August 26, to learn more about the environmental and economic challenges in Lebanon under the umbrella of the 3rd edition of the Citizenship Summer School organized by FNF in partnership with the Student life office at Université Saint Joseph.
L3aba Siyese Game night
In efforts to introduce the Lebanese public to L3aba siyese, FNF along with the creator of the game, Tracy Saad, organized a game night at the Ark in Hamra where we had an inter-generational audience from cities all over Lebanon trying out the game over drinks and bites.
Value & Values Award 2022
The V&V award is an essay writing competition for high school and university students launched by Rakiza in partnership with FNF Beirut office and Injaz Lebanon. This years finalists and their families were invited to an award ceremony at the Sursock Museum where the winners for both school and university category were announced in a nice atmosphere of debate around the economic concepts at the heart of the discussion.
We’ve wrapped up the Cryptocurrency program, organized in collaboration with GloryThink. This in-person four-week course taught participants all about financial literacy, cryptocurrency, NFTs, and trading.
