We are an open Haus for innovation and a global liberal think-tank, with the aim of enhancing the values and goals of freedom worldwide. With our activities and publications, we encourage and support individuals in exercising their right of political participation. Our offices in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) work within the frame of freedom and human rights in their national context. Our office is based in Amman, Jordan. FNF MENA has three main programs that encourage inter-country cooperation: MENA-NET | MENA-EU | MENA-GEOPOL. We advise and motivate relevant stakeholders and shape and promote solutions that are based on enhancing individual freedom and responsibility.
Al Hurriya Liberal Network (AHLN): MENA voices at the ALDE Congress 2023
The Al Hurriya Liberal Network (AHLN) recently participated in the ALDE Congress, a gathering of European liberal leaders held in Stockholm, Sweden from May 26th to 28th. With the invaluable support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF-MENA) and the Swedish International Liberal Center (SILC).
Liberal Forces Unify to Face Security Issues in the MENA Region
Liberal Networks in the MENA Region unify to address security challenges, prioritizing the expansion of Al Hurriya Liberal Network (AHLN). Twelve political parties and NGOs actively participate in the General Assembly, presenting institutional visions and recommendations. Their collaborative efforts focus on promoting liberal solutions and advocating for action within regional decision-making bodies.

Explore the root causes and consequences of irregular migration and develop policies, projects, campaigns, or products that strengthen the EU's role in the MENA region.
