Enhancing Vietnam’s Financial Sector: Insights from the New Institutional Economics Perspective

Despite significant economic developments, the Vietnamese financial market (still) faces challenges, including the lack of an internationally relevant financial market and currently high default rates in the corporate bond market. Analysis: Economic Report for BiH for 2nd half of 2022

FNF's biannual economic report for 2022 shows that Bosnia and Herzegovina's economy faced several challenges and problems that reflect the difficulties of the year. Despite its relatively high growth of four per cent, the country saw significant inflation and price increases, which made domestic economic opportunities more difficult. While the country experienced growth in exports, it also experienced unsatisfactory growth in the number of employees, especially in the entity of the Federation (FBiH).

Coordinating EU External Action on Migration

Infolgedessen gewinnen antieuropäische Kräfte an Einfluss, während extremistische Parteien Regierungen übernehmen.

European Supply Chain Regulations and Countries in South Asia

The paper starts by briefly describing the main global supply chains or global value chains (GVCs) that connect South Asia with the EU and the main human rights violations observed in them. To set the tone for the discussions, it is important to define different wage types, such as living wages, minimum wages and actual wages. This is the prelude to the economics of human rights violations in GVCs. It shows that human rights violations have economic effects on labour, the communities and other users of environmental services, the environment itself, and overall economies of the global South. The paper further analyzes the existing and proposed human rights due diligence in the EU, with the meaning of transformative change.

Letters to Europe - African Youth Perspectives on the Future Afro - Euro Relations

What do young people think about Afro-Euro relations? Young voices from Africa representing the African Leadership Academy (ALA) speak under the global dialogue giving insights on what they think the future corporations between Africa and the EU should be. This, as the EU seeks solutions to geo-political challenges of our time. The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom has been running the global dialogue since 2022.

Reshaping European Energy Relations across the Mediterranean: The Case of Green Hydrogen

Since 2019, Lebanon has been facing a multi-faceted crisis. This has led to severe shortages in fuel supply, which in turn resulted in further blackout in the national electricity grid with public electricity supply not exceeding a couple of hours per day. As Lebanon is relying mostly on oil imports for its energy supply, this publication explores the perspectives of alternative energy supply in Lebanon, highlighting the use of hydrogen.
