CONTEXT

Our world is changing drastically. Organisations are being transformed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the state of emergencies around the globe. And these turbulent times cause a significant impact on our external communication practice.

In order to keep up with this fast-paced world that is continuously advancing, FNF Europe is dedicated to offering a skill-building and networking platform to help you advance your communications skills in this dynamic digital media landscape and take the values of liberalism ahead.

This workshop series is designed to develop a common understanding of strategic communications. The key elements of the project include designing strategies, unlocking and sharpening digital communication knowledge. The two-day in-person training will take place in Brussels, Belgium followed by a series of online Zoom sessions to delve deeper into brand management, social media and strategy, and mobile storytelling.

TARGET GROUP

This training is for individuals with communications background or who take on a half or full-time role in communications in their organisation. Individuals who are interested to step into the communications field are also encouraged to apply. To be eligible for application you must be currently residing in the European Union and not be standing as a candidate in any local, regional, national or European elections between the start and end of this training.

This training will take place in English.

[1] Please note that you will be forwarded to Google Drive sheet. Photographs will be taken at the event for use on FNF website, social media, in the press, their marketing materials, and other publications. By entering this event, you consent to them filming, photographing and using your image and likeness.

APPLICATION SELECTION

Applicants will be selected based on their motivation. If selected, FNF Europe will cover flight and 2-night  accommodation for the in-person workshop. By accepting the invitation applicants must be able to participate in the online kick-off session on the 23rd of August as well as the in-person workshop on the 30th and 31st of August.

ABOUT THE TRAINER

Vineeti Singh, Founder and Director, empoweringbrands.co

Vineeti is a Communications professional with over 11 years of experience in leading strategic communications initiatives for political organisations. Vineeti has extensive experience in managing complex communications projects and campaigns, as well as working with cross-functional teams, creative agencies, designers, and developers, across continents and time zones. 

Her background includes founding and running a successful communications consulting agency for non-profit organisations –empoweringbrands.co, where she has collaborated with a diverse range of organisations on projects focused on defending human rights, promoting freedom of expression, advancing democracy, and innovation. With a data-driven approach to communications practice, Vineeti’s work involves designing strategies and communicating messages in both online and offline realms. 

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Vineeti spent five years as a Communications Officer at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) in New Delhi, where she led the development and implementation of their first-ever communications strategy for the South Asia region. In this role, she also worked closely with local partner organisations and coordinated joint communication activities and campaigns on all scales. Vineeti is a biochemistry graduate and holds a master’s degree in business management.
