I. Internship Description

  • Position: One (01) Intern – Support, Programme and Financial Management
  • Duration: 3 months (Flexible)
  • Application Deadline: 25 May 2022
  • Starting Date: 01 June 2022
  • Location: Sector 6, Uttara Model Town, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh
  • Working hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Monthly allowance for expenses: BDT 15,000

II. About the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF Bangladesh)

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) is an international non-profit organisation headquartered in Germany with project offices in over 65 countries. We work on promoting the ideas of liberal democracy, respect for human rights, good governance, economic freedom, and digital transformation. We work with several partner organisations globally to achieve this goal.

FNF started working in Bangladesh with an office in Dhaka since 2012, implementing programmes with national partners in the following areas: market economy, good governance, digital transformation, and civic education. More info on FNF Bangladesh's work is available at

III. Job Description/Responsibilities

Finance (Time allocation: 60%)

  • Verifying documents: vouchers, bills, etc.
  • Organising documents
  • Supporting administrative work (inventory, logistics)

Programme and Communication (Time allocation: 40%)

  • Assisting in planning and executing events
  • Drafting simple event reports, concept notes, agendas, invitation letters, etc.
  • Assisting in content creation (information, communication, social media)

IV. Requirements

Educational Background

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university / or all coursework completed
  • Must have basic understanding of finance and accounting

Language Proficiency

  • English (Fluent)
  • Bangla (Fluent)


  • Proficient in using Microsoft pack, internet tools, social media, etc.
  • Good writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Planning and organisation


  • Previous volunteering or associative experience at university, national or international level preferred
  • Content writing
  • SoMe content creation
  • Planning and organisation
