New Head for the Foundation in the Western Balkans

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Belgrade has a new director for its activities in the Western Balkans. In mid-August, Markus Kaiser took over from his predecessor Michael Roick, who is leaving the region after three years. The 42-year-old, who is now in charge of the Foundation’s work in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Kosovo, previously worked as Head of Unit for Europe at the Foundation's headquarters in Potsdam.

Project SUSI offers innovative concepts for city’s transport sector

Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNFF) and SafeTravelPH Mobility Innovations Inc. launched Project SUSI (Sustainable, Safe, and Integrated Public Transport Planning) which offers the city government of Puerto Princesa solutions to address the flaws in existing policies among others, in the transportation sector.

Sri Lankan exporters to face tough access to Germany unless HR, sustainability standards met

Sri Lankan exporters are bound to face tough rules when accessing the German market next year onwards because of the new law that will come into effect from January 1, 2023 in that country. The Act on Corporate Due Diligence in Supply Chains will provide for German importers to make sure that their suppliers adhere to human rights and sustainability standards. The push for the new law started after the collapse of a factory building called’ Rana Plaza’ killing nearly 1000 people.

Après les réformes intervenues en avril dernier et les missions d’évaluation de l’implantation du RHDP, le Secrétariat national chargé de la formation et de l’institut politique (SN-FIP) veut passer à une autre phase dans l’appropriation de l’idéologie de leur parti et la culture des valeurs que veut incarner cette formation politique.

A cet effet, le Pr Justin N’Goran Koffi, responsable dudit secrétariat et ses collaborateurs ont été reçu par Dr. Jo Holden.
