Raimar Wagner - Project Director
Starting 2020 Raimar is the Head of the new Project Office for Romania and Republic of Moldova. He studied German and French and also holds a Master degree in Translation Studies from the Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu. As a member of the German minority in Romania he was from 2008-2014 city councilor of the city of Sibiu. He is co-founder of the Association for the Embellishment of the City of Sibiu and of the District Association for Tourism, he is also board member of the Blue Cross Romania. Since 2000 he has worked as a full-time journalist for the Allgemeine Deutsche Zeitung for Romania. From 2007 he was active as an independent entrepreneur in the tourism branch. Between 2009 and 2014 he developed social projects for the German community. From 2014 he was Project Coordinator for Romania of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
Sergiu Boghean - Project Coordinator Republic of Moldova
Sergiu is a young liberal activist from Republic of Moldova, who joined FNF as full time Project Coordinator in January 2019. He is licensed in Education Sciences, speaks Romanian, English and Russian languages and has developed a long-standing passion for international relations and politics. Sergiu led the Liberal Youth of Moldova in the perioud of 2006 - 2011 and was the International Officer of the Liberal Party between 2013 - 2017. He is also a former Bureau Member of the European Liberal Youth (2016-2018) and LYMEC's Representative to IFLRY (2018-2020).
Simina Paler - Communications Officer
Simina joined FNF in April 2020 as a Communications Officer. She is 25, lives in Bucharest and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies and a Master’s degree in International Management. She speaks Romanian, German, English and Italian. Before working for the FNF she has done an internship in the German Bundestag.
