Join Us to Reimagine Gender Advocacy at the 6th Anniversary of Marriage Equality Forum on May 24
To mark the 6th anniversary of marriage equality, the FNF Global Innovation Hub, in partnership with the Taiwan Equality Campaign, will host "The 6th Anniversary of Marriage Equality Forum: Reimagining Advocacy for Gender Equality" at Room 201BC, TICC on May 24, 2025, 09:30-17:30. Centered on the vision of building a more inclusive and equitable Taiwan, the 6th Anniversary of Marriage Equality Forum invites participants to explore new forms of advocacy through panel talks and an interactive workshop.
Through three themed panel discussions: Research and Investigation, Alliances and Networks, and Empowerment and Recognition, speakers will share tools and experiences to help the participants shape effective, inclusive movements. By delving into the value of research as an advocacy tool, we will learn about how systematic monitoring and analysis can shape goals and guide strategy. Drawing from the Taiwan Equality Campaign’s coalition experience, we will examine how effective partnerships can amplify impact across communities. Additionally, the Forum will also discover how to enlarge the coalition for LGBTQI+ rights by encouraging more and empowering citizens to join the advocacy. The forum will also showcase innovative, empowering approaches that use visibility and storytelling to mobilize broader participation and sustain momentum in the equality movement.
Building on these discussions, the hands-on workshop will provide participants with mentorship, tools, and resources to draft their own advocacy proposals while connecting with like-minded changemakers who share a passion for gender equality.

About Our Partner: The Taiwan Equality Campaign
The Taiwan Equality Campaign is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing LGBTQI+ rights in Taiwan. Founded in 2016, the organization played a key role in building the coalition that led to the legalization of same-sex marriage.
Today, it continues to empower LGBTQI+ individuals through civic training, encourages political participation of LGBTQI+, and expands to include eliminating all forms of gender inequality and realizing a more diverse, inclusive Taiwan. The campaign also works with stakeholders globally to propose inclusive policies that help bring equality into everyday life.
