Women's leadership
The Alliance of Her Ukraine Class 2025
Over the past few months, the participants went through an intensive training program, gained new knowledge and valuable insights from leading experts, trainers and women politicians, and built meaningful connections with one another.
Session 1: Political Identity
From July 31 to August 3 in Lviv, the first session of the program brought together active Ukrainian women from across the country.
On the first day, participants explored the concepts of political identity, mission, and vision with:
• Corina Atanasiu, Member of the Romanian Parliament (USR Party)
• Beata Jurík, Member of the Slovak Parliament (Progressive Slovakia)
• Yuliia Tsybulska, Member of the Poltava Regional Council (Servant of the People Party)
The second day focused on political communication in action with Corina Atanasiu, followed by storytelling and media relations with Ilona Stankevych, Head of Educational Reform Communications office at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
During the final day, participants delved into personal branding with Zoriana Tyvyn, author and host of political TV projects.
Online Session: International Advocacy and Audience Engagement
On September 11, we held an online session where participants explored the topics of target audience engagement and international advocacy.
Violetta Pashutina, Executive Director of the Land of Freedom Foundation and a Board Member of The European Liberal Forum, shared her expertise on international advocacy.
Afterwards, participants worked in groups under the mentorship of The Alliance of Her ESEE alumnae from Ukraine — Yuliia Tsybulska, Anna Zarichna, and Valentyna Sotnykova — all of whom are already active in politics.
The session concluded with presentations of participants’ own campaign ideas.
Final Session: Leadership for the Future
From October 9 to 12, the third and final session of The Alliance of Her Ukraine Class 2025 took place.
Over several days, we explored:
• Team management and public speaking with Mariana Vershynina, Member of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council
• Information and data management in political careers with Yuliia Tsybulska, Member of the Poltava Regional Council
• Conflict resolution and mediation with Victoria Reva, expert in consciousness evolution, communication, education, and human development
Participants also had an online meeting with Inna Sovsun, Member of the Parliament of Ukraine.
And, of course, there was room for inspiration — the group hiked in the mountains to reconnect with their vision and inner strength.
The highlight of the session was the graduation speeches — long-standing The Alliance of Her tradition, where each participant summarised her journey, insights, and achievements.
We congratulate all graduates of The Alliance of Her Ukraine Class 2025 and wish them continued success in their political and civic endeavours.
We are confident that with their energy, professionalism, and leadership potential, they will become a driving force for positive change in their communities and across Ukraine.
