The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) is an international non-profit organization promoting the ideas of liberal democracy, respect for human rights, good governance, economic freedom, and digital transformation.

The Regional Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) in New Delhi is looking for a Regional Manager Marketing & Communication. Media engagement and omnichannel marketing communication play an essential role in the foundation's work. As Regional Manager Marketing & Communication, you will develop the entire communications strategy and coordinate the areas of press, social media, and marketing.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in strategic roles in the area of communication and/or marketing
  • Excellent command of English and German, ie. proficiency level of B2 in accordance with the European Framework of Reference for Languages (or equivalent, eg. native speaking)
  • Excellent communication and expression skills
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently, and inspire other people
  • Initiative and creative working style
  • Leadership skills and intercultural competence to coordinate teams in South Asia and Germany
  • Identification with the values of FNF
  • Familiarity with non-profit/non-governmental organizations work
  • Interest in politics, civil society, media, social media, advertisement, culture, and society
  • Thorough understanding of economic issues

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create an omnichannel marketing and communication strategy and ensure its operational implementation
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards for communication and PR materials (e.g. website, social media, articles, videos)
  • Develop, implement and continuously adapt a strategy for digital event series (ie. the Online Business Dialogue), streamline formats and liaise with offices in Germany as well as relevant associations and media partners in order to reach a German target audience
  • Engage third party expertise and coordinate the definition of social media KPIs, capturing and analysis of data/metrics and gathering insights to measure the success of campaigns feeding back into the further refinement of the media strategy
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to create content and engage third-party expertise to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Identify cooperation partner organizations in Germany, initiate strategic partnerships, and build a network
  • Develop activities for a German target audience and coordinate the organization of activities in Germany in cooperation with FNF offices in Germany
  • Coordinate the training of staff in the region and the communications staff at partner organizations
