In collaboration with the Global South in the World Order Project of the Stimson Center in Washington, DC, the think tank produced a detailed policy paper on the topic "Great Power Competition and Green Protectionism: The Impact of the US-China Trade War on Global South Countries." Following the publication of this paper, we had the opportunity to further explore the topic in a virtual round table discussion.

On October 21, 2024, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Korea office, in collaboration with social cooperative Parti, the German Embassy in Seoul, and Goethe-Institut Korea, hosted a panel discussion event, “The Dark Shadow of AI: Deep Fake Porn and Gender Bias,” at the Goethe-Institut Korea. This event brought together experts, activists, and the public to explore the intersection of artificial intelligence, gender, and digital rights.

Democratizing of mobility in the Philippines

The Philippines has been grappling with a transportation crisis driven by car-centric policies and inadequate infrastructure for decades. It ranks ninth globally and first in Southeast Asia for the worst traffic congestion, according to the Traffic Index by Country 2020. In response, FNF Philippines recognized the need for a study to evaluate public versus private transportation, as well as walkability and cyclability.

In another partnership with Alt Mobility Philippines, the FNF Philippines has published an in-depth study titled "The State of Mobility 2023," which examines the status of urban mobility in the Philippines.
