Kick-off of Freedome: Naumann Architects of Freedom
On 12 February 2026, the first day of FreeDome: Naumann Architects of Freedom successfully launched our four-day simulation experience with 30 participants divided into six sectors: Education, Health, Economy, Media, Civil Society, and Municipal Council.
Through a closed-scenario simulation, participants began “building” the fictional State of Ozone. Across three progressive scenarios, they established sector structures, set priorities, and made strategic decisions, only to gradually discover that their authority was more limited than it appeared. Each envelope introduced new constraints, creating an immersive experience of restricted decision-making and controlled governance.
Discussions were dynamic, strategic, and highly engaged. Participants showed strong ownership of their sectors, negotiating priorities and debating consequences with remarkable seriousness and creativity.
Notably, several Members of Parliament passed by during the sessions and expressed genuine appreciation for the project’s innovative methodology and the depth of participants’ discussions. They highlighted the originality of the simulation format and the level of political awareness demonstrated throughout the debates.
Day One successfully set the tone for a powerful experiential journey into governance, responsibility, and the subtle dynamics of limited freedom.
