The practical test for Javier Milei begins
Women in Action: The Protagonists of Their Own Stories
Last Saturday, December 2, in collaboration with the Civic Republican Foundation, we held the "Women in Action" program. The event brought together more than thirty women and marked the culmination of this year's cycle of events. "Women with Purpose" and "Women with Projects" trace a progression that reflects both the personal evolution of the participants and the impact on their environments, which was made visible in this last meeting.
Private Sector and Freedom: The Key to Building Argentina's Future
On November 15 and 16 we participated in Mar del Plata on a series of activities where we had the opportunity to visit the Industrial Park, visit companies, meet with entrepreneurs and civil society actors, and participate in the congress "Vision Global 2023" (Global Vision) organized by the Fundación Global (Global Foundation), partner of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Argentina.
Javier Milei will be the next president of Argentina
With Javier Milei as the new president, Argentina is facing a political transformation. The transition to the presidency poses challenges in the dialogue with Peronist President Alberto Fernández and in the complex composition of Congress. Milei's reform agenda and international relations are causing uncertainty. Positive market reactions after the election give hope for economic recovery, while the focus is on implementing structural reforms and preserving democratic institutions.
Women's Leadership Workshop
At a scenario where women are becoming more and more important developing projects, we organised an intensive workshop with the aim of strengthening their management, leadership and communication skills.
Market Solutions to Environmental Challenges in Latin America
During the visit to Saltos del Guairá, we talked with young people, local political representatives, businessmen and civil society actors about market solutions to the environmental challenges facing the country and the region.
Political Earthquake in the Argentinian Primaries
The primaries for the presidential election in Argentina on August 13th triggered a political earthquake: Javier Milei from the "La Libertad Avanza" party secured a surprising victory with 30 percent of the votes, overshadowing the established political forces. Milei is considered politically right-leaning and describes himself as "liberal, libertarian, and anarcho-capitalist." These developments could initiate a change in Argentina's political landscape.
