FNF and Clean Air Asia partnered to advance Electric Vehicle Adoption in the Philippines
The FNF Philippines has collaborated with Clean Air Asia (CAA) in 2023 to produce a pivotal Project Report titled “Advancing Electric Vehicle Adoption in the Philippines through Policy Integration”. This collaboration aims to help the implementation of the Republic Act 11687, also known as the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA), which mandates a 5% electric vehicle (EV) share in the vehicle fleets of government and corporate entities.

Case study on Tuguegarao Tricycle Modernization, highlight of 2021 FNF policy hackathon
As part of its Klima advocacy's policy hackathon, the FNF Philippines supports researches that address policy gaps in the transport system particularly those that impact the environment, and affect freedom of movement. One notable case study submitted during the 2021 hackathon co-organized by National Movement of Young Legislators Region 2 was a case study titled “Transport Modernization in Tuguegarao City”.

FNF and Alt Mobility pushes for the passage of Commuter Bill of Rights
In collaboration with AltMobility Philippines, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF)-Philippines co-authored a legal research paper titled “Commuters Naman!” in support of the Magna Carta for Dignified Commute, simply known as the Commuter Bill of Rights. The bill seeks to enumerate and uphold commuters' rights to safe, accessible, and sustainable mobility through a shift to more equitable transportation planning and policymaking which recognizes the necessity and importance of mobility in the lives of the Filipino commuting public.

AHRC’s annual Summer Internship Program brings ‘impactful’ community immersion experience to interns
A total of 11 participants from the Ateneo Law School, Mc Gill University, and Ateneo Human Rights Center (AHRC) attended this year’s AHRC Summer Internship Program (SIP) held on June 20-30, 2024 in Quezon City and in various Agta communities in Sta. Ana, Cagayan Province.

Real growth happens outside of comfort zone
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) believes in the importance of leadership in the promotion of liberalism, human rights, and democracy, thus, its offices nominate and send local applicants to the International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Gummersbach, Germany as well as other German and European venues where seminars to develop liberal solutions, propose common approaches to promote intellectual freedom, cultural diversity and global relations are held.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Yesterday, the Center for Liberalism and Democracy (CLD), in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF)-Philippines, wrapped up the final leg of #TaraNa: Political Education and Campaign Training in Quezon City. Representatives from Metro Manila chapters gathered to enhance their understanding of political education and campaign strategies, covering topics like snowflake and organizing framework, social investigation and stakeholder mapping, and effective electoral campaigning. CLD, a key partner of FNF, serves as a liberal think tank dedicated to developing liberal reform concepts and facilitating discussions on current political and social issues through initiatives such as Liberal Caucus Congressional trainings, freedom spaces initiatives and Plaza Miranda publications.
