Tim Brose is the Program Manager for DPR Korea at the Korea office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF). He joined FNF Korea in 2016 and he is in charge of organising capacity-building seminars in the DPRK well as study tours to Germany for North Korean experts. These programs are mainly in the area of environment protection, water resource management and sustainable urban planning. He also oversees FNF programs in South Korea related to unification and North Korea. He received his B.A. from the University of Bonn in Asia Studies and his M.A. in International Studies from Korea University.
