Kurzbiografie
Jörg Dehnert holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and History from Münster University. He began his career with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) in June 1993 at the Theodor Heuss Academy, where he served as Head of the Department of Liberalism.
In 1995, Mr. Dehnert became the founding Director of the International Academy for Leadership (IAF), which he led until 2006 before moving to Istanbul to serve as Project Director for Turkey. From 2012 to 2018, he was based in Buenos Aires as Project Director for Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. He then established FNF’s new office in Lima, becoming the first Project Director for the Andean Countries (Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela).
In July 2022, Mr. Dehnert was appointed Interim Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), a position he formally assumed on February 1, 2023.
