IAF Seminar
‘Campaigning: Strategy & Tools’

Shachar Exmit, political advisor and chief of staff of a member in the Israeli parliament, is sharing his experience about his seminar participation (‘Campaigning: Strategy & Tools’) at our FNF - International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Gummersbach, Germany:

"When I received the invitation to attend the seminar, it seemed to me that the idea of creating or finding a common denominator between 24 women and men from all over the world unfounded and impossible.
What Khatuna from Georgia, Christian from Chile, Jason from the Philippines, Tomas from Argentine, Lianchi from Uganda and me from Israel have in common? And how this whole group can come together in a seminar on building and managing political campaigns? The professional and sensitive group of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation of the Gummersbach Leadership Academy and the three great mentors made it happen.
Seven days of theoretical study, practical experience and most of all, sharing the life experience of each of the seminar participants, brought this magic to happen.
The participation in this seminar reminded me an important fact: despite all the differences and major gaps between the countries and the political cultures of those who participated in the seminar, an important old and somewhat rusty, but stable and strong bridge unifies us. This bridge consists of a set of liberal values that form the basis of equal and free life in our complex world."
