Freedom Caravan 2025 Visits Key Cities Across the Philippines

© CLDThe Freedom Caravan 2025 organized by the Center for Liberalism and Democracy in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Foundation brought discussions on integrity, accountability, and transformative governance to cities across the Philippines.
The event kicked off in Butuan City on November 15, 2025, where participants from the PPVR Caraga network joined the forum. Former LP Director General and PPVR Lead Convenor Concepcion C. Asis, along with the PPVR Caraga staff and FNF Philippines, helped make the event possible.

In Cagayan de Oro on November 16, community members, partners, and participants gathered to engage in discussions coordinated by Bencyrus Gerona Ellorin. Organizers emphasized the importance of standing for accountability and good governance in local communities.

© CLDThe caravan’s next phase is on Iloilo City, Bacolod, and Cebu from November 21 to 25, 2025.
In Iloilo City, the LP Magayon Chapter and LP Magayon Youth hosted the event. Leaders and members, including Gerald Peñaranda, Nonong Bretana, Ging Bretana, and Maybelle Flores, helped facilitate the discussions, supported by FNF Philippines.

© CLDIn Bacolod, chapters and sectoral groups of Mamamayang Liberal re-engaged in dialogues on national concerns, with Doc Bernaldo Eres and Ka Nani Panganiban acknowledged for their support.
The tour reached Cebu, where the LP Cebu Chapters and Mamamayang Liberal groups joined a forum led by Liberal Party Congressman Erin Tañada. Special recognition was given to Margarita Tsutsumi and Ray Nacar for their efforts in supporting the event. Organizers called the Cebu stop a success and announced that the next leg would continue in Davao City.
Organizers of the Freedom Caravan said this series of discussions is part of a broader effort to promote citizen engagement and champion transparency and good governance across the country.
