As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and cultural exchange between Germany and Jordan, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom took part in the German Scientific and Cultural Day organized by the Faculty of Engineering and the Language Center at Jadara University, in cooperation with several German educational and cultural institutions operating in the Kingdom.

The event was held in the presence of H.E. Dr. Bertram von Moltke, the German Ambassador to Jordan, and Ms. Lina Graziano, the Cultural Attaché, alongside Dr. Shukri Al-Mrshdeh, Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Habees Al-Zboon, the University President, Professor Dr. Eman Al-Bashiti, Vice President, and a number of academics and cultural figures from both countries. During the event, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation presented an overview of its liberal vision and its areas of work in Jordan and the region, including initiatives that support individual freedoms, youth empowerment, civic engagement, and the promotion of entrepreneurship as a tool for sustainable development.
In his speech, Jörg Dehnert, the Regional Director of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, emphasized that:"Academic and cultural exchange is one of the most effective tools for building trust and mutual understanding between nations. We are proud of our partnerships with Jordanian universities, which open up new horizons for young people and equip them with tools for free thinking and openness to the world.

The Foundation participated alongside the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Goethe-Institut, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and the Jordanian Association of German University Alumni (JADU). The partners showcased their programs and plans to further strengthen Jordanian-German cooperation in the fields of education, research, and science.
The day also featured cultural performances by Jadara University students in the German language, including poetry and traditional folkloric shows that highlighted students’ talents and engagement with German culture, receiving enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation firmly believes that promoting a culture of dialogue and academic exchange is a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development and continues to stress the importance of investing in education and international cooperation as a pathway toward more open and prosperous societies.
