Independence and Liberal Reforms’ book presentation in National Library of Armenia.

On March 26, Aram Manukyan presented the ‘Independence and Liberal Reforms’ book in two volumes in the National Library of Armenia. The books include articles by different authors who were among the decision-makers responsible for the implementation of transitional liberal reforms since Armenia’s independence in 1991. The authors tell about the reform process both as eyewitnesses and implementers. Both volumes of the book were supported by FNF South Caucasus.


Aram Manukyan is a deputy chair of the Armenian National Congress, an Armenian liberal party FNF has been cooperating with since its foundation. Aram Manukyan actively participated in the independence movement of Armenia. In 1990 Aram Manukyan read the declaration of Independence of the Republic Armenia with which the process of independence entered its active phase. He was a parliamentarian from 1990 to 1999, and from 2012 to 2017.
