She Leads 2025 Empowers MENA Women Through AI
Amman, Jordan | May 9–11, 2025The future of entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa has taken a bold leap forward. From May 9 to 11, 2025, 16 dynamic women entrepreneurs from across the region convened in Amman for She Leads 2025: Empowering Women Leaders in the Age of Artificial Intelligence—an advanced training program organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF MENA) in partnership with the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY).
Held under the umbrella of the Naumann MENA Academy, the three-day program offered more than just professional development. It was a call to action—empowering women to harness emerging technologies, rethink leadership, and build resilient, scalable businesses in an evolving digital landscape.“We designed She Leads 2025 not only to introduce AI tools and strategies but to cultivate long-term collaboration among women entrepreneurs in MENA,” said Yasmine Najdawi, FNF MENA Regional Project Coordinator. “This gathering reflects our belief in inclusive innovation, where leadership is shared and success is collective.”
A Program Built on Purpose
From the outset, participants were encouraged to rethink their entrepreneurial journey through the lens of innovation, strategy, and impact. The training combined technical knowledge—such as AI-powered marketing tools and automation platforms—with in-depth discussions on personal leadership, crisis resilience, and ethical decision-making in the digital age.
Interactive sessions focused on practical applications of AI in business, helping participants identify tools that could enhance their workflows, reach new markets, and better connect with customers. The format encouraged peer exchange, group problem-solving, and reflection on the broader role of women in leading economic and social change.
Regional Connections, Lasting Impact
The program brought together women from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia—each contributing diverse experiences and expertise to the dialogue. This cross-border exchange was at the heart of the She Leads 2025 model, fostering a support network that extends far beyond the training room.
The training also laid the groundwork for long-term engagement through post-event virtual sessions, mentorship opportunities, and a dedicated digital platform designed to support collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants.
Looking Ahead
As the final session closed and participants shared their takeaways, one message rang loud and clear: the region’s women are not waiting for the future—they are building it. With tools in hand, networks strengthened, and visions clarified, the She Leads 2025 cohort is poised to lead the next wave of innovation across MENA.
From start-up founders to social impact pioneers, these women are redefining leadership in real time—powered by technology, guided by purpose, and connected through shared ambition.
These activities, along with those to come, are all part of a broader strategic vision: She Leads 2025 operates under the Naumann MENA Academy’s commitment to empowering women across the MENA region. Through initiatives like this, the Academy continues to advance inclusive leadership and unlock the full potential of women as drivers of economic, political, and social transformation.
