SHE LEADS

Amman, Jordan | May 9, 2025 — With the golden light of a new morning casting promise across the city of Amman, 16 exceptional women from across the Middle East and North Africa gathered with a shared ambition: to lead with impact in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF MENA), through its Naumann MENA Academy, in partnership with the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY), officially launched the She Leads 2025 Advanced Training—an empowering 3-day journey tailored to elevate women leaders in an increasingly digital world. This isn’t just another workshop. It's a movement, a milestone, and for many, a personal mission.

“The launch of the Naumann Academy in 2024 was driven by our commitment to establishing a sustainable approach to trainings and projects tailored for a select group of female entrepreneurs in the Middle East and North Africa,” said Yasmine Najdawi, Regional Project Coordinator.
She added: “Our gathering today for the second round of the advanced training under the program ‘She Leads 2025: Empowering Women Leaders in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’ reflects the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom’s ongoing dedication to supporting and empowering women across this vital region.”

Day One: Vision, Connection, and Momentum

The opening day set the stage for a transformative experience. Under the theme “Find the Mountain. Pick Up the Tools,” participants reflected on their personal journeys and defined the visions driving their entrepreneurial climb. Through a series of interactive sessions, they began shaping strategic plans, exploring their target audiences, and discovering practical tools to streamline their business operations.

Beyond the sessions, the energy in the room was one of mutual support and shared ambition. From strategic mapping to digital tools and peer storytelling, the day offered a balance of inspiration and action. With every conversation, every insight, the foundation for a powerful regional network was being built—one connection at a time.

As participants added their reflections to a growing wall of ideas and lessons, it was clear: the momentum has begun, and this journey is only just getting started.

Beyond the Summit: Building a Lasting Network

The She Leads 2025 training isn’t just about AI tools or business strategies—it’s about creating a strong, lasting regional network of empowered women who will shape their communities and industries. With participants from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia, the program is sowing the seeds of cross-border solidarity and innovation.

The training continues through May 11, with upcoming sessions on AI-powered marketing, crisis resilience, and market expansion strategies. Follow-up virtual sessions and an exclusive online platform will ensure that learning and mentorship carry on long after the event ends.

As the sun set on Day One, the message was clear: the climb is steep, but the summit is within reach—and these women are ready.
