MENA Media Hub: Where Liberal Values Met Media Innovation

As the curtains close on MENA Media Hub 2025, what remains is more than just a series of workshops and discussions; it’s a renewed commitment to shaping media narratives that echo the values of freedom, inclusion, and innovation across the MENA region.

Held in partnership with Naqd, this year’s edition brought together young media professionals, content creators, and liberal voices from across the region to explore how strategic communication can become a tool for political transformation and social impact. Over the course of three days, participants were immersed in hands-on sessions that bridged the gap between liberal values and platform-specific storytelling, from the power of podcasting and digital campaigns to content creation and value-based messaging.

The program was not just about learning, it was about building. Participants co-created content, developed strategic campaigns, and pushed the boundaries of how values-based narratives can resonate with today’s audiences.

Speaking about the program’s impact, Ayah Al-Majali, MENA Project Coordinator for AHLN and Networks, said:
“MENA Media Hub is more than a training; it’s a space where media meets purpose. We’re not only equipping young professionals with tools; we’re cultivating a generation of communicators who understand the power of storytelling in advancing liberal change.”

From strategy to storytelling, from values to visuals, MENA Media Hub 2025 showed what’s possible when creativity, clarity, and conviction come together. The future of liberal communication in the region isn’t just being imagined, it’s being built.

Now begins the next phase.

Selected participants will move forward through a mentorship and production program, which includes tailored guidance, group coaching, and a series of online sessions designed to support them in developing and publishing their own content. This phase is focused on turning ideas into action, amplifying liberal voices and supporting creators as they engage broader audiences.

The MENA Media Hub is more than a training, it’s a long-term platform for creativity, collaboration, and liberal transformation in the MENA region.
