In February 2011, the ConnectinGroup International was created as an independent NGO with public utility by Mrs. Hakima El Haité.
The ConnectinGroup International is a women's network dedicated to the promotion of women's skills and their involvement in the management of public affairs. It reinforces the initiatives initiated by both the government and civil society for the development of women's potential by setting up a network of women from different socio-cultural and professional backgrounds who have skills, human values and a civic commitment that will ultimately allow them to participate effectively in the public management and development of their countries.
Its current president is Dr. Nouzha Bouchareb, member of the MP National Council and Minister of National Land Use Planning, Urbanism and Habitat.
The FFN has been collaborating with the CGI since September 2012 within the framework of women's political empowerment.
