Fe-male: Intersectionality of Digital Safety and Feminist Activism

Fe-male workshops
As part of our collaboration with Fe-male, we conducted this October a series of three training workshops on cybersecurity for Women Journalists, Women Political Activists, and Women Human Rights Defenders.
We hosted specially tailored, two day cybersecurity trainings for each group about the intersectionality of digital safety and feminist activism. Around 40 participants learned more about how to protect themselves online and deal with cyberbullying and online gender based violence. They also went home with a toolkit produced by Fe-male to help them deal with cyberbullying and cybersecurity from a gender sensitive perspective on a daily basis.
