Focus: Image editing & social media

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) promotes liberal politics, human rights, democracy and the social market economy worldwide. Our European office in Brussels is a lively hub of political communication, international networking and social debate.

What you can expect

We are looking for a motivated communications specialist (m/f/d) with a special focus on visual communication and social media to join our team in Brussels. Working closely with the Regional Communications Manager, you will support the team in implementing and further developing our digital communications strategy.

Your tasks

• Supporting content creation for social media (Instagram, Bluesky, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Independently designing graphics, stories, videos and image material
• Assisting with live communication at events (photography, social media coverage)
• Research and monitoring of current topics in the European political arena

What you bring

• Current or completed degree in communication, media, design, politics or related fields
• Experience and/or strong interest in visual communication (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, visual language)
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for social media and digital trends
• Creativity, ability to work in a team and organisational skills
• Very good written and spoken English
• German language skills are a plus
