"BAZA - Balkanska Ženska Akademija" heading into fourth year

The first session of "BAZA – Balkanska Ženska Akademija" in 2026 has come to an end – and what an intense and inspiring journey it has been so far.

Over four days, our fourth generation of participants pushed their own boundaries. Demanding training sessions were broken up by open spaces for exchanging ideas, building lasting relationships, and supporting one another. The energy, curiosity, and openness this group brought made it clear once again why this academy continues to grow as a flagship initiative in the region.

A special thank you goes to our Dep. Chairwoman Bettina Stark-Watzinger and to our partner Sabina Ćudić MP for their thoughtful contributions and engagement. Their insights helped shape meaningful discussions and added depth to the experience. “BAZA – Balkanska Ženska Akademija“ is more than a programme – it is a platform for empowering future women leaders, creating space for dialogue, and strengthening networks that will continue to influence our societies long after these four days.
