Laura Tatarėlytė joined the Foundation’s office in Vilnius in January 2024 as Security and Defense Programme Manager for the Baltic states. With a solid background in EU policy and communications, she brings extensive experience in designing and leading projects focused on European affairs, enhancing civic resilience, and defending democracy. Her work pays special attention to strengthening civic and political German-Lithuanian and German-Baltic relations in the field of security and defense. Laura is an alumni of the International Parliamentary Scholarship of German Bundestag and of the European seminar of the German Federal ministry of Defense. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Vilnius University and the LLM degree from the Free University of Berlin. She speaks Lithuanian, English, German and Russian.
