The Turkish-German Young Leaders Conference, organized by Global Bridges and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) Türkiye, brought together 40 participants in Istanbul from 5 to 9 October 2026 to strengthen bilateral dialogue, foster mutual understanding, and develop the next generation of leaders.

The five-day programme combined high-level discussions, interactive workshops, leadership training, and institutional visits. Participants explored key political, economic, and societal developments shaping Turkish-German relations, with a particular focus on intercultural cooperation, innovation, and shared challenges.

Highlights included discussions at Istanbul Bilgi University, exchanges with diplomatic representatives, and visits to leading institutions and companies such as Mercedes-Benz Türk, Siemens Türkiye, and the German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Türkiye). Through its partnership with Global Bridges, FNF Türkiye reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Turkish-German relations, empowering emerging leaders, and creating lasting networks for international dialogue and cooperation.
