Luna Safwan is an independent Lebanese Journalist and communication specialist. She reported for several Pan Arab and International news outlets and has published work with several platforms, including The Washington Post, The Daily Telegraph, The National and the New Humanitarian.

She has also worked on press freedom and freedom of expression, researched and documented media violence in the The Middle East and has been a lifelong advocate for the cause while covering the Arab spring with a special focus on Syria and Syrian refugees, in addition to uncovering stories on migrant workers and marginalized communities struggles in both Palestinian and Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon.
