The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is inviting proposals from experienced event coordinators to support a Cape Town roundtable under the LGE Coalitions Project, titled South Africa as a Coalition Country: Local Government, the GNU and the 2026 Election Test.
The event will bring together political stakeholders, journalists, analysts, civil society voices and invited guests for a focused discussion on coalition governance ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections. FNF and The South Africa Brief will lead the content, speakers and strategic direction, while the appointed provider will manage the practical event logistics.
