Dr. Katja Hartmann has worked in international science management for over 20 years. Since 2019, she has been head of the Scholarship Division of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Previously, she was director of the Berlin office of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, where she was responsible for relations with numerous science organizations worldwide and the exchange of international junior researchers. She studied and earned her doctorate in Germany, Great Britain and the USA.
