Kathleen Plotka was a Fellow at the Brussels Office of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation from May to July 2026. Since 2019, she has been working in the field of international student mobility at Freie Universität Berlin.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Politics, and Public Administration from the University of Potsdam, as well as a vocational qualification as an Administrative Specialist obtained at Humboldt University of Berlin. In spring 2027, she will complete the Master's programme Applied Social Science: Globalisation and Crime at the University of the Highlands and Islands. Her academic focus is on authoritarianism, transnational crime, and international security cooperation.
