Elgawaty is the Programme Officer at FNF in Indonesia. She is responsible for handling our partner LestraGP and INDEKS. Before joining FNF in January 2020, she previously worked as a research assistant and search engine optimization (SEO). She has an interest in human rights, women empowerment, education, and digital media.

The Student Workshop on "Advocating Diversity through Social Media" took place from 26th to 29th May 2023 in Pekanbaru, Riau. The workshop aimed to educate journalists and content creators about the importance of diversity, encouraging them to approach news and content creation with an open mindset. Participants engaged in various activities, including presentations, discussions, and field visits, all centered around promoting diversity and fostering understanding in Indonesian media.

Ineradicable Child Marriage in Wonosobo: Who's Responsible?
The outstanding number of child marriage practices in Wonosobo, Central Java is highly alarming. FNF Indonesia along with Wonosobo Local Government collaborated to spread awareness and literacy against child marriage practices through an online discussion "Unravel the Complexity of Child Marriage in Wonosobo Regency".
