Daniel Hinšt completed his Advanced Master of European Studies and graduated in Political Science with specialisation in public policy and public management, as well as international relations and diplomacy, at the University of Zagreb, Croatia. Daniel is Vice President of the Centre for Public Policy and Economic Analysis (CEA), a Croatian think-tank based in Zagreb, focused on researching economic and national security policy, designing methodologically based policy solutions for institutional and market reforms, and also on detecting disinformation risks against individual liberty and EU / NATO institutions.

"Although many things still need to be repaired and improved, Croatia has achieved much in geopolitical terms by becoming an EU Member State (as well as a NATO member). Had it not done so, Croatia would have been left under the significant influence of the authoritarian Russian regime. In this way, Croatia's example can help Serbia and other countries of the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership on their path towards (more) freedom and the EU".
