Five policy hacks, which aims to improve Region 2’s local transport system were put into the spotlight in the culmination activity of ‘Ti Panagbaliw ti Dalan Ko” (Changing My Course) Policy Hackathon.

Learn more about the SMS-based tricycle driver-passenger management system, integrated multi-modal system, commuter-centred software application, transportation scheme for underprivileged sectors, and two-way automated commuter tracking system in this digital compilation of the top policy hacks.

The policy hackathon, which aims to address policy gaps in the transport system and provide a platform for transport advocate to present their recommendations to legislators, local chief executives, and lobby groups for further policy development was organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation Philippines in partnership with the National Movement of Young Legislators – Region 2 in October 2021.
