Adaptation and mitigation changed due to the Covid 19 pandemic are urgently needed so that new, better normal conditions can be built. The choice of a green economy can provide hope in facing the economic downturn due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Green economy is an economic principle that harmonizes economic activities with natural systems, so that the economic system will be in harmony with natural systems. 

At this webinar, the Head of Apik Indonesian Network, Dr. Mahawan Karuniasa conveyed the importance of the role of young people in creating green jobs, so as to create economic sustainability. Jonathan Davy, from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation conveyed the role and activities of FNF in delivering sustainability issues among young people. Cut Feroza from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights also welcomed this webinar and expressed her appreciation for the efforts to include young people in creating green jobs. 

Ira Larasati from UNITAR conveyed the concept of inclusive green economy, with the definition of Inclusive Green economy (UN Environment) is an economy that results in improved human well-being and social equity, while significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities. There are 3 global challenges, eradicating poverty, sharing prosperity equitably and staying within planetary boundaries. 

The formation of a sustainable start-up is by adopting three pillars of sustainability, explained Rendika Nugraha. The types of green jobs that can be created are very broad and varied, in starting a start-up, the implementing team needs to pay attention to the team, so that the team has hacker, hipster and hustlers. 

In the second session Niken Adellia Agustin and Juan Feron Ndruru shared their experiences in running their start-up that had considered sustainability from the begining. Niken conveyed the business of reusing used clothes into clothing worthy of use with attractive models. Meanwhile, Juan conveyed his platform that provides mathematics learning services related to human responsibility for the environment. The last speaker in this second session was Putri D Potabuga who shared her experiences and opportunities to create green jobs in various fields of science.
