Female Forward South Asia :

Every person hopes for decent working conditions (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth). Every man and woman. However, globally women still earn less than men, but do more unpaid work than men. When women are part of the general work force, they tend to choose jobs, which are very often closer to their traditional roles in society such as being an educator, a nurse or working in traditional industries such as embroidery, making local food, etc. They receive a rather modest pay from these activities. We would like to encourage women to consider gainful activities, which give them a better income and enable them to work in the industries, which are the future of the 21st century.
